As one of our favorite Red Wings, Bob Probert was not only one of the most feared men on the ice, but also one of the most respected in the league. His presence could be felt the moment he stepped on the ice even for warm-ups! While he hasn’t been with us for almost 10 years, his presence can still be felt today. His wonderful family and friends created the Bob Probert Memorial Ride in his honor and since 2011 it has helped raise over $1 Million since 2011 for Cardiac Services at Hotel-Dieu Grace.
We have been honored to participate in the ride, help raise funds, and spread awareness. Unfortunately, the ride had to be cancelled due to COVID-19, but you can still help. We’ve lowered the price of all our Probert shirts and $4 from each shirt will got back to Hotel-Dieu Grace. So, drop the gloves, get yours and do some good!
The Probert Ride has helped raise over $1 Million
and have supported the creation of a second angioplasty suite, the new wellness exercise room used by our Cardiac Wellness patients and now a satellite location that will make access to the exercise room easier for patients in the county.
