Shirt Sizing
TMS shirts are all cut in the vintage mold: sleeves and torso run tighter than traditional fits. We use only super soft, lightweight blends that are meant to drape over the body. When in doubt, we normally recommend going up a size. The women’s sizes run small; a women’s XL is comparable to a Men’s S. Charitable Donations
We strive to maintain strong ties with our great communities in Michigan. All of our products see a portion of each sale donated to local charities within the state. On each product page, you have the opportunity to select which organization you want a portion of your purchase to benefit, via the drop down menu within the purchase options. Return Policy
We guarantee the quality of all our products at TMS. We will issue a refund for any product, so long as it is unwashed/unworn and has the original tags attached. Refunds are issued based on the original payment method used (i.e., an original payment with VISA will be refunded to the same credit card account). For a return, simply send an email to info@TheMittenState.com within 45 days of original purchase date.
Exchange Policy
One of the benefits of becoming a TMS member means free exchanges: if you’ve ordered the wrong size, TMS will issue you an exchange shipping label via email. Just print off the prepaid shipping label, and drop it off in the mail to us! Upon receipt, we’ll ship you your new size, free of charge. For non-members, please address any exchanges to our headquarters at TMS (click here for address). Exchanges must be unworn/unwashed and have the original tags still attached. Exchanges can be made within the first 45 days of original purchase. Discounted items sold on sale cannot be returned or exchanged.
Manufacturing
We take great pride in our state and its communities: everything we sell is designed in Michigan. Whenever possible, TMS bases production within Michigan as well. In nearly all cases, our products are made within the U.S.A. Look for the “Made in the U.S.A.” tag on the corresponding product pages for details on which products are domestic. In some rare cases, when there is no other feasible option, some products may be made overseas.
Shipping
TMS ships via USPS. For orders under 1 lb, regular ground shipping applies. For orders over 1 lb, Priority Mail is used instead. TMS ships once per week: every Thursday. Members receive free shipping! For more details, see our shipping page.
