Good Morning America held a contest to see what people thought was the most beautiful place in the good ole' U.S. of A. In June, viewers nominated hundreds of places all over the country. Of those, 10 were selected to be placed in the contest: (1) Sleeping Bear Dunes, MI (2) Newport, RI (3) Cape Cod, MA (4) Point Reyes, CA (5) Aspen, CO (6) Sedona, AZ (7) Destin, FL (8) Asheville, NC (9) Lanikai Beach, HI and (10) Grand Teton National Park, WY. Over 100,000 participated and today they announced the winner: Sleeping Bear Dunes! We're feeling lucky to be living in The Mitten State.
